Great Reunion with Hendry

Haha, I just got home now...I went to BurgerKing and chatted with Hendry, one of my best friend who's recently a college sophomore. He's an awesome and humorous person ever. When he drove his car and picked me up from my apartment, he seemed to be a little bit, just a little, more mature than he had been last year. Sometimes, he behaved like a buffoon that even I, as a crazy little boy, can't help getting away from him. He choked, he spitted, and licked the coke that he had drunk...ewwwwwww, but that's how he's been a buffoon who always tries to make fun of himself and entertain others...I glad to see him again after a long summer!

Battle with our Teachers

Despite my injuries, I still attend the basketball game against the teachers. It's an exciting game where everyone, I mean every single player of our team, gets a chance to go on the court and perform. Of a surety, there is a big deficit between the scores, but until Mr. Li has gone crazy and starts going to the rim by himself all the way. He is just like a beast, stronger than he usually is, and dominates all the way through the fourth quarter. Fortunately, we scored much more points than the teachers did in the previous quarters, so we've got the victory at the end where Mr. Li is still not able to help his team bounce back. Whoo~The result has told us that our team is such a young team which still needs more and more experience and better chemistry...

The Wounded No. 41

Today, it is supposed to be great game for all of us, however, things just don't go the way that you want it to be. My job iss to defend a fat and strong guy who plays the position as a center. That guy, purposely, used his elbow to block me as it hits my mouth. My lip is cut by my teeth deeply. It starts blooding non-stop. Moreover, I don't even know what's wrong my shots. The ball just keeps hitting the middle part of the rim and bounces back for many times. In general, nothing goes well for me today. I better go to sleep now and stopping thinking about those things. Hope it is still going to be another glory day tomorrow.

Getting Ready for Tomorrow's Battle

Tomorrow is going to be a big day for not only me, but also the my other basketball teammates. It is our 1st game of the new starting year. In order to be prepared, I pushed myself to do some conditionings and drank a lot of water. It's obviously an important battle for us after our last victory over them. Hopefully, our ex-coach Mr. Rick Garcia would be at the court tomorrow and witness how much we have improved compared to a few months ago. I believe, I believe, I believe, that's what I always do, we do have a great chance to bounce back once again. We have to get focused and do our jobs well. It's going to be a game of a team, not a single person or certain players. It is our time to come up with a big "W!" GO TYPHOON~~

Effort Is Everything

Everyday, every night, I am the one who looks so bright. In order to be persistant of it, all I need is to put my effort in. Today, I practiced playing basketball with my teammates. I hustled, I jumped, I shot, and I even blocked! All these moves were energized and motivated by my effort into work. Whenever I saw there was a guy who wanted to go for the fast break, I hustled and caught him up by challenging his shot. Every time when I did so, I pushed myself to another level of being a redemptive and resilient player. I know what I want. Analogically, it should also be done in my daily homework and school work. I put my effort into it, I win! And that's why, I'm always excited about the coming of a new day.

New Guest

Starting from tomorrow, my life will be totally different because my uncle, who is only 9 years older than I, is going to move in to our apartment for at least half a year! It will be exciting that I have a free tutor and a partner since my brother left to study overseas. Hopefully, he is cosmopolitan for anything. Nonetheless, it is quite an inconvenience that I can no longer sleep without any clothes and piss without closing the washroom door. It's somehow a trouble to me who always prefer to live in a "free" condition. There will always be a certain level of challenge for a new coming in our live. In order to get over it, my attitude must be positive, adamantly...!

Doing For A Living Isn't Easy

After collecting stacks of magazines, boxes, and other paper-made stuff, today is the deadline for recycling. In my opinion, I estimated the weight of those stacks would be at least 30 kilograms, but in fact, there was only around 20 (a bit less than 20). In another word, my expectation for the price of recycling such an amount was wrong. At last, I only got $NT 101 for the reward after I had sweated and gotten sore muscles for more than half an hour. Recalling my memory that granny had told me that I must be frugal and content because there were others who were living in an extremely poor condition. I finally realized what granny was trying to instruct me - doing for a living isn't easy !
